ANNOUNCES A PUBLIC HEARING ON

THE FISCAL YEAR 2012 BUDGET

Monday, November 29, 2010; 6pm-8pm

The District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) will convene a public hearing concerning the FY12 budget on Monday, November 29, 2010 from 6pm-8pm in the Old Council Chambers located at 441 4^th Street NW Washington, DC 20001. The purpose of the hearing is to gather the views of the public on programs and levels of public funding to be sought for the public schools.

 

Members of the public are invited and encouraged to testify at this hearing. Testimonies (maximum of 5 minutes) may be submitted in advance by signing up with Bryant Sewell via email at [e-mail] or in person or by phone at [phone] by November 26, 2010.  Witnesses should bring 5 copies of their written testimony to the hearing.  Written testimony may be mailed or hand-delivered to Bryant Sewell 1200 First Street NE Washington, DC 20002 or emailed to [e-mail].
