NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

 

Pursuant to 22 DCMR B § 4302, the District of Columbia State Health Planning and Development Agency ("SHPDA") will hold a public hearing on the following two (2) certificate of need applications:

 

1)      MedStar Health, Inc. for the Establishment of Proton Therapy Services at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital - Certificate of Need Registration No. 12-3-9

 

and

 

2)      Sibley Memorial Hospital for the Establishment of Proton Therapy Services – Certificate of Need Registration No. 12-3-10.

 

The hearing will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at 899 North Capitol Street, N.E., 4^th Floor, Room 406, Washington, D.C.  20002.

 

Testimony from affected persons will be received at the hearing.  Comments may be submitted in writing before the hearing, or they may be presented at the hearing orally or in writing.  Written statements may also be submitted to the SHPDA, 899 North Capitol Street, N.E., Second Floor, Washington, D.C. 20002, until 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 before the record closes.  The referenced applications are available at the SHPDA for review.

 

Persons who wish to testify should contact the SHPDA on [phone] before 4:45 p.m., by Monday, January 7, 2013.  Each member of the public who wishes to testify will be allowed a maximum of five (5) minutes.
