To confirm the appointment of Ms. Claire Benjamin as a voting member of the Food Policy Council.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this resolution may be cited as the “Food Policy Council Claire Benjamin Confirmation Resolution of 2016”.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:
Ms. Claire Benjamin
2144 California Street, N.W.
Washington, D.C. 20008
(Ward 2)
as a voting member of the Food Policy Council, established by section 3 of the Food Policy Council and Director Establishment Act of 2014, effective March 10, 2015 (D.C. Law 20-191; D.C. Official Code § 48-312), for a 3-year term.
Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
