    ANNOUNCES A PUBLIC ROUNDTABLE ON THE MATTER OF:

     

    The Ingleside Presbyterian Retirement Community Inc. Revenue Bonds Project

                Councilmember Jack Evans, Chairman of the Committee on Finance and Revenue, announces a public roundtable to be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 9:45 a.m. in Room 120 of the John A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20004.

                The Ingleside Presbyterian Retirement Community Inc. Revenue Bonds Project would authorize and provide for the issuance, sale and delivery in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $30 million of the District of Columbia revenue bonds in one or more series and to authorize and provide for the loan of the proceeds of the bonds to assist The Ingelside Presbyterian Retirement Community, Inc. (“Ingelside at Rock Creek”) in the financing, refinancing or reimbursing of cost associated with an authorized project pursuant to section 490 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act.  The project is located at several properties located on Military Road N.W., in Ward 4, and includes the refunding of a series 1998 issuance, and the financing of pre-development costs for renovation, construction and expansion of facilities.

     

                The Committee invites the public to testify at the roundtable. Those who wish to testify should contact Sarina Loy, Committee Aide at (202) 724-8058 or sloy@dccouncil.us, and provide your name, organizational affiliation (if any), and title with the organization by 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Witnesses should bring 15 copies of their written testimony to the hearing. The Committee allows individuals 3 minutes to provide oral testimony in order to permit each witness an opportunity to be heard. Additional written statements are encouraged and will be made part of the official record.
