NOTIFICATION OF NEW SCHOOL LOCATION

The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) hereby gives notice of Shining Stars Montessori Academy Public Charter School’s (Shining Stars PCS) intent to relocate its facility to 1240 Randolph Street NE, Washington D.C., 20017 in the school year 2016-2017. Shining Stars PCS’s proposed new facility will include a 10-year lease with Howard University, which will provide Shining Stars PCS with a long-term facility that is large enough to accommodate the school’s growing student population.  A public hearing regarding this item will be held on May 16, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.; a vote will be held on June 20, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. To submit public comments, you may do so by one of the actions below.  All comments must be submitted on or before May 16_, 2016 at 4:00pm.  For questions, please contact Laterica (Teri) Quinn, Equity and Fidelity Specialist, at 202-328-2660 or [e-mail].
