    Advisory Neighborhood Commission 2B (ANC 2B) to

     Extend a Modified West Dupont Circle Liquor License Moratorium

     

    Wednesday, May 4, 2011

    1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

     

     

    The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (Board) announces a public hearing to receive testimony on the petition of ANC 2B for a renewal of a modified West Dupont Circle Liquor License Moratorium Zone for a three year period.  ANC 2B’s petition recommends continuing the current number of licenses allowed for Retailer Class A, B, CT/DT, CN/DN, CX/DX and that the restriction on the number of Retailer Class CR/DR licenses be lifted.  ANC 2B is also requesting that the 1400 block of 20th Street, N.W. (also known as One Dupont Circle) be exempted from the West Dupont Circle Liquor License Moratorium Zone.

    The hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at 2000 14th Street, NW, Board Hearing Room, Washington, D.C. 20009.  Individuals who wish to testify should contact Cynthia Simms at (202) 442-4496 or by e-mail at cynthia.simms@dc.gov by April 29, 2011.  E-mail contacts should include the full name, title, and affiliation, if applicable, of the person(s) testifying.  Witnesses should bring nine (9) copies of their written testimony to the Board.
