Councilmember Jack Evans, Chairman of the Committee on Finance and Revenue, announces a public roundtable to be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 10:15 a.m. in Room 120 of the John A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20004.
PR 21-170, the “Board of Directors of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Principal Member Corbett Price Reappointment Resolution of 2015” would confirm the reappointment of Corbett Price as a principal member of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Board of Directors for a term to end June 30, 2019.
The Committee invites the public to testify at the roundtable. Those who wish to testify should contact Sarina Loy, Committee Aide at (202) 724-8058 or sloy@dccouncil.us, and provide your name, organizational affiliation (if any), and title with the organization by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Witnesses should bring 10 copies of their written testimony to the roundtable. The Committee allows individuals 3 minutes to provide oral testimony in order to permit each witness an opportunity to be heard. Additional written statements are encouraged and will be made part of the official record.
