On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, Councilmember Kenyan R. McDuffie, Chairperson of the Committee on the Judiciary, will hold a public roundtable on the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing Final Report. The roundtable will include a robust discussion of best practices and policy recommendations for improving policing and promoting crime reduction while building public trust. The roundtable will be held in the Faculty Conference Center of The George Washington University Law School, located at 2000 H Street, N.W., at 2:00 p.m.
The Committee has invited experts in policing and related fields to provide testimony. The Committee invites the public to submit written testimony, which will be made part of the official record. The public is invited to attend, but members of the public who wish to provide oral testimony will be invited to testify at a roundtable to be scheduled in the fall of 2015.

The record will close at the end of the business day on Tuesday, July 28, 2015.
