NOTICE OF FINAL RULEMAKING

 

 

TT 12-1, IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF VERIZON WASHINGTON DC, INC., FOR AUTHORITY TO AMEND THE GENERAL SERVICES TARIFF, P.S.C. – D.C. NO. 203          

 

                                                                         

            1.         The Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia (Commission), pursuant to its authority under D.C. Official Code § 34-802 (2010 Repl.) hereby gives notice of its final rulemaking action taken on August 2, 2012, in Order No. 16852.  In that Order, the Commission approved the construction charge tariff changes in the tariff pages listed below.  A Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR) regarding these changes was published on June 1, 2012.[1]  No comments were filed on the NOPR.  The Commission made no changes to the proposed tariff language in Order No. 16852.  These tariff changes shall become effective upon publication of the Notice of Final Rulemaking.

 

            2.         On April 17, 2012, Verizon DC filed an application requesting authority to amend the following tariff pages:

            3.         The tariff language included in the Application changes the terms and conditions of its Construction Charge tariff.  The new language clarifies the terms and conditions for receiving deposits associated with preconstruction work and general construction activities on public roads or private property.
