496948 Errata Notice: Massage Establishment and Health Spa Facility Regulations

ERRATA NOTICE

 

The Administrator of the Office of Documents and Administrative Issuances, pursuant to the authority set forth in section 309 of the District of Columbia Administrative Procedure Act, approved October 21, 1968 (82 Stat. 1203; D.C. Official Code § 2-559), and the Director of the Department of Health, pursuant to the authority set forth in section 4902 of the Department of Health Functions Clarification Act of 2001 (Act) (effective October 3, 2001), D.C. Law 14-28, D.C. Official Code § 7-731(a)(12) (2008 Repl.), and Mayor’s Order 2006-10 dated January 27, 2006, hereby gives notice of the following corrections to the text of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR) which was amended by Notice of Final Rulemaking published in the District of Columbia Register, and issued by the Department of Health on October 9, 2009 at 56 DCR 7975.

 

In chapter 2 of subtitle D of Title 25, the following correction is made:

 

Within section 206 of subtitle D of Title 25, subsection 206.9(b) is corrected by striking the word “sued” and inserting the word “used” in its place to correct a typographical error.

 

In chapter 8 of subtitle D of Title 25, the following corrections are made:

 

Subsection 808.3 is renumbered 808.2 to correct the inadvertent omission of 808.2 in the numbering of the section.

 

Subsection 813.4 is corrected by inserting the word “Celsius” following the phrases “twenty degrees” and “twenty-seven degrees”, and by inserting parentheses around the temperatures given in Celsius, to read as follows:

 

All massage therapy rooms, bathrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and toilet rooms shall be capable of being maintained at a temperature between sixty-eight degrees Fahrenheit (68° F) (twenty degrees Celsius (20° C)) and eighty degrees Fahrenheit (80° F) (twenty-seven degrees Celsius (27° C)) while being used by customers, unless intentionally warmer for therapeutic purposes, such as in a sauna.

 

In chapter 11 of subtitle D of Title 25, the following correction is made:

 

Within section 1101, paragraph (d) of subsection 1101.2 is relettered (c) to correct the inadvertent omission of (c) in the lettering of the subsection.

 

In chapter 13 of subtitle D of Title 25, the following correction is made:

 

Within section 1301, subparagraph (4) of subsection 1301.1(b) is renumbered (2) to correct the inadvertent omission of (2) and (3) in the numbering of the paragraph.
