Councilmember Vincent B. Orange, Sr. announces a public roundtable on the Mayor’s nominees to the District of Columbia Boxing and Wrestling Commission. The public hearing will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012 in Room 500 of the John A. Wilson Building.
The stated purpose of the proposed resolutions is to confirm the following nominees to the District of Columbia Boxing and Wrestling Commission: Mr. Timothy Thomas and Bryan Scott Irving.
Those who wish to testify should contact Mr. Stacey Lincoln, Administrative Assistant, or Gene Fisher, Committee Director, at (202) 727-6683 or via e-mail at slincoln@dccouncil.us or gfisher@dccouncil.us and furnish their name, address, telephone number, organizational affiliation and title (if any) by close of business Monday, September 10, 2012. Persons wishing to testify are encouraged to submit 20 copies of his/her written testimony. Witnesses should limit their testimony to three minutes.
If you are unable to testify at the hearing, written statements are encouraged and will be made a part of the official record. Copies of written statements should be submitted either to Mr. Lincoln, or to Mr. Fisher, in care of the Committee on Small and Local Business Development, Room 119, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20004. The record will remain open until close of business Friday, September 21, 2012.
