ERRATA NOTICE

 

The Administrator of the Office of Documents and Administrative Issuances, pursuant to the authority set forth in section 309 of the District of Columbia Administrative Procedure Act, approved October 21, 1968 (82 Stat. 1203; D.C. Official Code § 2-559 (2006 Repl.)), and the Director of the District Department of the Environment (DDOE), pursuant to the authority set forth in the District Department of the Environment Establishment Act of 2005, §§ 101 et seq., effective February 15, 2006 (D.C. Law 16-51), as amended, including: D.C. Official Code §§ 8-151.03 and 8-151.07 (2011 Supp.); the Comprehensive Stormwater Management Enhancement Amendment Act of 2008, effective March 25, 2009 (D.C. Law 17-371); D.C. Official Code §§ 8-152.01 and 8-152.03 (2011 Supp.); the Water Pollution Control Act of 1984, effective March 16, 1985 (D.C. Law 5-188); D.C. Official Code § 8-103.13 (2011 Supp.); and Mayor’s Order 2006-61, dated June 14, 2006, hereby gives notice of the following correction to the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking of the Stormwater Fees Program published in the D.C. Register on July 29, 2011, at 58 DCR 6428. The proposed rulemaking will amend chapter 5 (Water Quality and Pollution) of title 21 (Water and Sanitation).

 

This Errata Notice corrects the inadvertent omission of the “comment paragraph,” which informs members of the public of how they can submit comments to the agency in response to the proposed rulemaking. Below is information as to how the public can submit comments to DDOE in response to the Stormwater Fees Program Notice of Proposed Rulemaking:

 

Obtaining a Copy of the Proposed Rules

 

A person may obtain a copy of this Notice and the Proposed Rules by any of the following: (1) visit the DDOE website and look for the following title/section, “DDOE News”, click on it and follow directions to download the document in PDF’s cut-and-paste format; (2) e-mail a request to [e-mail] with “Request copy of proposed fee discount rules” in the subject line; (3) stop by DDOE’s offices and ask for a copy at the 5^th floor reception desk at the following address (mention “Stormwater Management Division fee discount rules”); or (4) write DDOE at Stormwater Management Division, 1200 First Street, N.E., 6th Floor, Washington, DC 20002, Attention: Stormwater Fee Discount, and put “Requesting a copy” on the outside of the letter.

 

The Manner and Time Period for Giving Public Comment

 

All persons desiring to comment on the proposed rulemaking should file comments in writing by either thirty (30) days after the date of publication of this notice in the D.C. Register, or September 6, 2011, whichever is later. Comments should be clearly marked “Stormwater Fee Discount” and either (1) mailed or hand-delivered to DDOE, Stormwater Management Division, 1200 First Street, N.E., 6th Floor, Washington, DC 20002, Attention: Stormwater Fee Discount, or (2) e-mailed to [e-mail]. The Director will consider all comments received before publishing a final rulemaking.

 

The text of Notice of Proposed Rulemaking of the Stormwater Fees Program is corrected in accordance with the intended text of the rulemaking.
