DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL BOARD

NOTIFICATION OF ADDITIONAL SCHOOL LOCATION

The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) hereby gives notice of Rocketship DC Public Charter School’s (Rocketship PCS) intent to add a second campust at 4135 Alabama Avenue, SE, Washington DC, 20019 in the school year 2017-2018. Rocketship PCS is currently in its first year of operation serving students in grades pre-kindergarten-3 through fifth at a single campus located in Ward 8.  Per the school’s charter agreement, DC PCSB conditionally approved Rocketship PCS to open a total of eight campuses, with the caveat that only the first two campuses are fully approved.  A public hearing regarding this item will be held on October 17, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.; a vote will be held on November 21, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. To submit public comments, you may do so by one of the actions below.  All comments must be submitted on or before October 17_, 2016 at 4:00pm.  For questions, please contact Laterica (Teri) Quinn, Equity and Fidelity Specialist, at 202-328-2660 or [e-mail].
