Section 18-2717. RECIPROCITY

    2717.1Any driver holding a valid special parking permit for a person with a physical disability or any driver issued a special license tag for a person with a physical disability, issued by any state, territory, or possession of the United States shall be granted the special parking privilege established by § 2406.9; provided, that the respective jurisdiction extends special parking privileges to residents of the District of Columbia who have been issued special parking permits or special licenses tags under this chapter.

     

    2717.2An individual who meets the requirements of §§ 2710.1 and 2717.1 and who has qualified for reciprocity privileges pursuant to § 411 of this title, may be considered for a reserved parking space pursuant to this chapter. The applicant shall provide the Director with all information considered necessary for qualifying for the space, including, but not limited to, medical information required from all other applicants under this chapter.
