Section 19-4306. NON-COMPETITIVE SIMPLIFIED PROCUREMENTS

    4306.1A procurement for ten thousand dollars ($10,000) or less shall be considered a small purchase and may be made without obtaining competition if the contracting officer determines the price to be fair and reasonable.

     

    4306.2Small purchase requirements shall be reserved for local, small or disadvantaged businesses to the maximum extent practicable.

     

    4306.3Small purchase requirements shall be spread equitably among suppliers to ensure usage of as many suppliers as possible and to provide procurement opportunities to as many suppliers as possible.
