Section 25-C701. APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR FACILITY LICENSE - FORM OF SUBMISSION, NOTICE

    701.1An applicant shall submit a written application for a swimming pool, spa pool, or sauna on a form provided by the Department.

     

    701.2An applicant shall submit an application to license a newly constructed or newly renovated swimming pool, spa pool, or sauna at least thirty (30) calendar days before the proposed opening date of the swimming pool, spa pool, or sauna.

     

    701.3An applicant shall submit an application to renew a license at least thirty (30) calendar days before the expiration date of the current license for an existing swimming pool, spa pool, or sauna.

     

    701.4A new application shall be filed with the Department within thirty (30) calendar days of any change in ownership or location. An applicant shall also notify the Department immediately if the applicant decides not to open, sell, or transfers the aquatic facility at the location identified in the application.

     

    701.5The Department shall accept completed plans and specifications approved by the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs that meet the requirements of these regulations, and shall report its findings to the applicant within thirty (30) calendar days of the date the completed plans are received.  

     

    701.6Plans and specifications that are not approved as submitted shall be changed to comply with these regulations or shall be returned as disapproved.
