Section 30-1606. MONTE CARLO NIGHT PARTY RAFFLES

    1606.1A licensed organization may conduct a raffle in conjunction with a Monte Carlo night party where the following is present:

     

    (a)There shall be no pre-sale of tickets. All tickets shall be sold during the event;

     

    (b)The drawing shall be held at the Monte Carlo night party where the tickets were sold;

     

    (c)The person shall be present in order to win;

     

    (d)The prize shall be awarded at the Monte Carlo night party in which the tickets were sold; and

     

    (e)The aggregate value of the prize does not exceed five hundred dollars ($500).

     

    1606.2On the application, the licensed organization shall register the raffle by indicating its intention to hold a raffle.

     

    1606.3If a licensed organization desires to have a raffle and the aggregate value of the prize is more than five hundred dollars ($500) or the licensed organization desires to pre-sell the tickets, then the licensed organization shall obtain a raffle license pursuant to Chapter 12 of this title.
