Section 5-E1022. RETIREMENT

1022.1Title XXVI (Retirement) of D.C. Law 2-139 provides that the existing retirement systems, including the Civil Service Retirement System and Teachers’ Retirement System, shall continue to be applicable to all employees of the District of Columbia. Therefore, the Federal regulations in 5 CFR § 831 and applicable District regulations will continue to apply to employees of the Board of Education.
