Section 8-A1203. TEMPORARY AND PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT

    1203.1An employee shall be deemed "temporary" when his or her appointment does not exceed three hundred sixty-four (364) days.

     

    1203.2An employee shall be deemed to be "part-time" if his or her assigned regular tour of duty is thirty-nine (39) hours or less per week.

     

    1203.3Temporary employment may be on a full-time or part-time basis.

     

    1203.4An employee appointed on a When-Actually-Employed (W.A.E.) basis shall be deemed to be a temporary employee.

     

    1203.5A grant, trust, and other sponsored program employee shall be deemed to be a temporary employee.
