Section 8-A1805. RETENTION STANDING

1805.1The retention standing of an employee shall determine whether an employee is entitled to compete with other employees for employment retention (and, if so, with whom) and whether the employee is retained or released.
1805.2The retention standing of each competing employee shall be determined on the basis of the following:
(a)Tenure of appointment;
(b)Length of creditable service;
(c)Veterans preference; and
(d)Other selection factors set forth in this chapter.
