Section 8-B300. ACADEMIC PROCEDURES AND METHODS

    300.1It shall be the responsibility of the President to develop, adopt, and administer academic procedures consistent with the policies adopted by the Board.

     

    300.2The academic administration shall fulfill the following functions:

     

    (a)Prescribe the teaching load to be carried by each member of the faculty;

     

    (b)Determine the maximum and minimum number of students permitted to be enrolled in a class; and

     

    (c)Define the nature and form of records to be kept of activities of the members of the faculties and of activities of administrative personnel.

     

    300.3The President, the faculty and staff, and the deans and faculties of each academic unit of the University shall be accountable to the Board for providing efficient service as measured by approved academic standards.

     

    300.4The President shall review and evaluate all program activities of the University.

     

    300.5The procedures for evaluation of program activities developed by the President shall include provisions for keeping the Board fully informed of the standards of scholarship maintained and of the efficient and economic administration of the University.
