    Notice of Reprogramming Requests

     

    Pursuant to DC Official Code Sec 47-361 et seq. of the Reprogramming Policy Act of 1990, the Council of the District of Columbia gives notice that the Mayor has transmitted the following reprogramming request(s)

     

    A reprogramming will become effective on the 15th day after official receipt unless a Member of the Council files a notice of disapproval of the request which extends the Council’s review period to 30 days.   If such notice is given, a reprogramming will become effective on the 31st day after its official receipt unless a resolution of approval or disapproval is adopted by the Council prior to that time.

    Reprog. 19-228:         Request to reprogram $1,300,000 of Local Funds Budget Authority within the Department of Employment Services (DOES) was filed in the Office of the Secretary on October 17, 2012. This reprogramming ensures that DOES will be able to align the budget with actual expenditures.

    Reprog. 19-229:         Request to reprogram $838,635 of Local Funds Budget Authority from the Master Equipment Lease/Purchase Program to the Department of Public Works (DPW) was filed in the Office of the Secretary on October 17, 2012. This reprogramming covers the agency’s actual Fringe Benefits cost, which is more than the amount budgeted in Fiscal Year 2012.

    Reprog. 19-230:         Request to reprogram $1,091,000 of Fiscal Year 2012 Special Purpose Revenue Funds Budget Authority within the Department of Housing and Community Development was filed in the Office of the Secretary on October 17, 2012. This reprogramming ensures that the DHCD will be able to realign the budget to reflect the actual personal services spending.

    Reprog. 19-231:         Request to reprogram $3,300,000 of Fiscal Year 2012 Special Purpose Revenue Funds Budget Authority from the Office of Cable Television (OCT) to the Pay-As-You-Go (Paygo) Capital Account was filed in the Office of the Secretary on October 17, 2012. This reprogramming is needed to support the renovation and relocation of OCT from its current location at 3700 Tilden Street, N.W. to its new headquarters at 1949 19th Street, N.E., anticipated to occur during Fiscal Year 2013.

    Reprog. 19-232:         Request to reprogram $1,000,000 of Fiscal Year 2012 Local Funds Budget Authority within the Department of General Services (DGS) was filed in the Office of the Secretary on October 17, 2012. This reprogramming ensures that DGS will be able to cover water cost incurred by D.C. Public Schools.

     

    RECEIVED:   14 day review began October 18, 2012

     

     

    Reprog. 19-233:         Request to reprogram $1,028,499 of Local Funds Budget Authority from Various Agencies to the Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) was filed in the Office of the Secretary on October 17, 2012. This reprogramming is needed to fund the costs of FTEs and general office support to initiate a Certified Business Enterprise Compliance Monitoring program.

     

    RECEIVED:   14 day review began October 18, 2012

     

     

    Reprog. 19-234:         Request to reprogram $12,984,458 of Fiscal Year 2012 Local Funds Budget Authority from Various Agencies to the Pay-As-You-Go (Paygo) Capital Account was filed in the Office of the Secretary on October 17, 2012. This reprogramming will move funding to the Paygo Capital Account to allow transfer to the General Capital Improvement Fund, to support a DPR initiative to repair and modernize playgrounds citywide.

    Reprog. 19-235:         Request to reprogram $658,868 of Local Funds Budget Authority within the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) was filed in the Office of the Secretary on October 17, 2012. This reprogramming ensures that DHCD will be able to realign the budget to reflect the actual personal services spending.
