DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL BOARD

NOTIFICATION OF CHARTER AMENDMENT

The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) hereby gives notice of Roots Public Charter School’s (Roots PCS) request to amend its goals and academic achievement expectations. Roots PCS is requesting to update its assessments for its early childhood literacy program and revise its early childhood goals to align with the proposed new assessment. If approved, this amendment will be effective for school year 2016-2017 and beyond.  A public hearing regarding this item will be held on October 17, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.; a vote will be held on November 21, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.  To submit public comments, you may October 17_, 2016 at 4:00pm.  For questions, please contact Laterica (Teri) Quinn, Equity and Fidelity Specialist, at 202-328-2660 or [e-mail].
