    600.1Food and food ingredients processed in a food processing operation shall be:

     

    (a)Safe for human consumption;

     

    (b)Clean;

     

    (c)Free of spoilage;

     

    (d)From an approved source; and

     

    (e)Generally recognized as safe (GRAS).
