Section 25-C500. EQUIPMENT ROOMS - SECURITY ACCESS*

    500.1Equipment designated by the manufacturer for outdoor use may be located in an equipment area. All other equipment shall be located in an equipment room.

     

    500.2Plastic pipe subject to a period of prolonged sunlight exposure area shall be surrounded with a fence at least four feet (4 ft.) high on all sides and not confined by a building or equivalent structure.

     

    500.3A self-closing and self-latching gate with a locking device shall be provided, if necessary for access.

     

    500.4An equipment room shall be protected on at least three (3) sides and overhead. The fourth side may be a gate, fence, or open if otherwise protected from unauthorized access.

     

    500.5An equipment room shall be lockable or otherwise protected from unauthorized access.

     

    500.6Security access shall be installed on all pool equipment rooms for those that do not presently have a similar level of security.
