Section 25-F806. ISSUANCE OF LICENSE - REQUIRED PLAN REVIEWS AND APPROVALS

    806.1A license applicant or licensee shall submit to the Department for review and approval properly prepared plans and specifications before:

     

    (a)The construction of a tanning facility;

     

    (b)The conversion of an existing structure for use as a tanning facility; or

     

    (c)Major renovation, remodeling, or alteration of a tanning facility if the  Department determines that plans and specifications are necessary to  ensure compliance with these regulations.

     

    806.2Plans required by this section shall include specifications showing layout, arrangement, and construction materials, and the location, size, and type of fixed equipment and facilities.

     

    806.3Plans, specifications, an application form, and the applicable fee shall be submitted at least thirty (30) calendar days before beginning construction, remodeling, or conversion of a facility.

     

    806.4The Department shall approve the completed plans and specifications if they meet the requirements of these regulations, and the Department shall report its findings to the license applicant or licensee within thirty (30) days of the date the completed plans are received.

     

    806.5Plans and specifications that are not approved as submitted shall be changed to comply or be deleted from the project.
