Section 8-A100. EXERCISE OF AUTHORITY

    100.1The Board of Governors of the District of Columbia School of Law (the "Board") shall exercise the authority set forth in the provisions of D.C. Law 6-177, as amended (D.C. Code, §31-1541, et seq.) through the official acts of its members taken while the Board is in session, and when a quorum of the Board is present.

     

    100.2The official acts of the Board of Governors shall be recorded in the minutes of the Board which shall be certified and maintained by the Executive Assistant to the Board.

     

    100.3The Board of Governors shall not be bound in any way by any action or statement of an individual member or group of members of the Board, except when that action or statement is authorized by an official act of the Board of Governors or the provisions of this chapter.

     

    100.4For purposes of the District of Columbia School of Law, whenever the laws or regulations of the District of Columbia confer authority on, establish the duties of, or otherwise refer to the head of an agency that term shall mean and apply to the Board of Governors.

     

    100.5Except as specifically provided otherwise in this chapter, wherever any provision of this chapter refers to the Board of Governors of the School of Law, the reference shall also apply to the Interim Board of Governors established under D.C. Code, §31-1543(r). The provisions of this subsection shall expire upon the dissolution of the Interim Board of Governors as provided by law.
