Section 8-B1110. PROBATIONARY PERIOD

    1110.1Upon his or her initial appointment, each employee shall be subject to a one (1) year probationary period.

     

    1110.2The President or a designee may waive the probationary period for any person who has previously completed a probationary period in the field of speciality for which that person is being hired at the University.

     

    1110.3If an employee serves under a temporary or part-time appointment in the same position for twelve (12) consecutive months or longer, and is subsequently assigned permanent full-time status in that position, he or she shall be deemed to have fulfilled the requirement to serve a probationary period.
